I have been thinking of doing a barbecue with a difference this summer and organising a
Spit Pig for the day instead of fussing with all of the usual burgers, chicken drumsticks and steaks that we usually have to deal with when inviting people over for a barbecue. I have been looking into ordering a
Spit Pig and, when I looked into the cost properly, I discovered to my delight that it would not be too expensive at all to go down this route. I realised that particularly when I thought about how much it would cost to buy all of the extras that go with an ordinary barbecue such as all the sauces and the salads etc, it would actually be more cost effective to order the
Spit Pig instead. Not only would the cost be much better but it would also mean that there would be none of the hassle usually involved at barbecues where one person is continually stood over the barbecue not being able to socialise at all. My husband agrees with me that it is a really good idea. I know that he absolutely adores the idea of a whole sucking pig and crackling and I really think the novelty value will appeal to all of my friends as well.

finally summer is here, and with it comes the long balmy nights, and the glorious sunshine. There are plenty of things to do with the summer now that it has arrived. You could go on holiday. You could instead, decide to stay in the UK enjoying the wonderful weather. Most people at some point of the year will enjoy a barbeque or two. Entertaining guests is great when the weather is like this. But what do you do when the evening draws in and the light starts to fade? Well for one thing you could look at having a load of garden lights put in the garden to make the environment much more ambient and romantic. How or what do you choose to achieve this garden lights environment. Well for many people garden lights are simple things that they put up when it gets dark but to be honest, they can be used for so much more. Why not line your garden path with delicate LED lights, that cast an emotive glow all over, and help people see where they`re going. Or you could attach some high output led lights to the railing of your house, again, to cast a glow all over the garden. Whatever you eventually choose to do, you can rest assured that garden lights will make your garden look lovely.
