My boyfriend has just got a job doing Sports Grounds Maintenance and he is absolutely over the moon about it. He is delighted, not just because he has always wanted to do Sports Grounds Maintenance, but because he will be doing the Sports Grounds Maintenance at the football club which he is a fan of. He literally could not believe it when he was offered the job as he thought that nothing that wonderful would ever happen to somebody like him. Of course, he cannot wait to start and is spending sleepless nights at the moment wondering if he will see his favourite players practising during the week as he goes about his job. I asked him whether he would receive any free tickets to the matches as a perk of his job and was really surprised when he told me that he had no idea. I thought this would have been one thing that he would have enquired about straight away but he was so nervous at the interview it totally slipped his mind. I am sure that as he gets used to the job, it will become less exciting bur, for the moment, he is a man in a dream world.

The great British summer allows us to dig out our Barbeques and eat outside for a change. Across the country on dry, weekend days, the smell of burning charcoal fills the air. Anyone using one of these will be able to cater for a large crowd of people and they`ll be plenty of sausages, burgers and steaks to go around for everybody. Certain folks swear by their charcoal models whilst others sing the praises of gas. It all comes to down to personal choice really and whether you have the knack for lighting the charcoal in the first place. Gas barbecues are certainly cleaner to use and you can cook on them straight away once they have been lit. Now that the great British summer is upon us there`ll be more and more Barbeques being used as people take full advantage of the fairer weather.
